I have already booked our golf and hotel and am now moving into the finer details of the tour which include ordering personalised tour shirts, Golf Caps and Ties in the normal manner.
The broad plan is for everyone to get themselves to our base – Golf du Medoc Resort – by lunchtime on Thursday 23rd June (Fly/Drive/Ferry as you wish)

At this stage I have reserved for 28 golfers and 12 non-golfers using double/twin rooms at this 4* complex as appropriate.
We will play Golf du Medoc’s Les Chateaux course from 2.00pm on day one. In the evening we plan to take taxis into town where we will have a restaurant pre-booked for dinner.
On day 2 after breakfast, we will have a coach to drive us to the Golf Club of Grand St Emilionnais (European top 100 course), where we will have lunch before playing our second round. The coach will return us to the hotel, where we will freshen up before a trip to one of the great Bordeaux Chateau for a special dinner and tasting.
On day 3, (Saturday) we will play Les Vignes course at Golf Du Medoc from 10.00am and following a relaxing afternoon we will have a dinner and prizegiving in a private room at the hotel.
On Sunday 26th June after breakfast the touring party will head off home or to their extended holidays as planned!
The budgeted cost for the tour taking in all golf, meals, dinner drinks and accommodation is £ 769 per golfer which includes a personalised golf shirt, cap and tour tie. The cost for each non-playing partner on the same basis is £ 499.
At this stage I am looking to work out who the touring party will be and then secure a £ 100 per head deposit for the tour.
